So here goes.<br /><br />Imagine a child who has been through some of the worst sexual abuse you could imagine from a very young age. The child learns how to tolerate it, the abuse began so long ago, that the child begins to think being raped, sodimised and brutalised is the norm. However one day the childs abuser starts bringing around friends.<br /><br />The child decides to tell someone, and choses a person that they think will be trustworthy. The day comes the child discloses. But instead of doing the right thing and going with the child to the police and supporting them through the process, the person decides the child looks like a nice piece of meat and rapes the child.<br /><br />The child retreats into themself. They have learnt from a very young age that people can not be trusted.Wize_Onenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19853844.post-52719446345056928652007-10-23T12:31:00.000+13:002007-10-23T12:34:50.553+13:00Photos<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rx0zdr80F0I/AAAAAAAAAFs/yYmHeg5xC_0/s1600-h/DSCF0060.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rx0zdr80F0I/AAAAAAAAAFs/yYmHeg5xC_0/s320/DSCF0060.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5124308536124512066" border="0" /></a>I was quite rapped with how this one turned out.Wize_Onenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19853844.post-23650160202034949892007-10-21T15:30:00.000+13:002007-10-21T15:34:32.026+13:00Constance<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qqyLRpGgxRs"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qqyLRpGgxRs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object><br /><br />Child porn isnt a softer option than child abuse. The three girls ran away and two of them traveled over 9 weeks to get back to their mothers. The girls were part of what is referred to as the stolen generation. Its interesting, I found a link to a <a href="http://www.ipe.net.au/RPFence.html">review </a>of the movie that was done by the 1971 Minister of Aboriginal affairs, can we say 'biased'?<br /><br />One of Australia's dirty little secrets. Its now being bought to the surface once again with John Howard sending the military into the aboriginal settlements in the Northern territory in order to check up on the children and to combat abuse and mistreatment of the children. In all honesty it seems like too little too late. I went to the <a href="http://www.slq.qld.gov.au/whats-on/exhibit/online/broken_links/stories">Broken Links</a> exhibit when in Brisbane, it is about more of the children who were removed from their families between 1930 and 1973. Two of the removals occured in the 1960s and 1970s.<br /><br />Even though the Minister of Aboriginal affairs Peter Howson states that the problem was not nearly as bad as the movie made out. This <a href="http://www.hreoc.gov.au/social_justice/bth_report/report/ch2_part2.html">report </a>from the Australian Human rights Comission would say otherwise.Wize_Onenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19853844.post-91523605043015730332007-08-21T17:52:00.000+12:002007-08-21T17:56:46.210+12:00The amazingness of nature<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsp-ag7vpCI/AAAAAAAAAFE/EyvFzUfYdfw/s1600-h/murawai+beach+038.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsp-ag7vpCI/AAAAAAAAAFE/EyvFzUfYdfw/s320/murawai+beach+038.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5101028521932727330" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsp-Iw7vpBI/AAAAAAAAAE8/t16l66QHhsM/s1600-h/murawai+beach+036.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsp-Iw7vpBI/AAAAAAAAAE8/t16l66QHhsM/s320/murawai+beach+036.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5101028216990049298" border="0" /></a>Wize_Onenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19853844.post-28493710688221588932007-08-21T12:29:00.000+12:002007-08-21T12:38:14.839+12:00Depression<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsozwg7vpAI/AAAAAAAAAE0/PAFdSIp9msg/s1600-h/murawai+beach+043.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsozwg7vpAI/AAAAAAAAAE0/PAFdSIp9msg/s320/murawai+beach+043.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5100946436517766146" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsoy_Q7vo_I/AAAAAAAAAEs/P9MES06hwXE/s1600-h/murawai+066.JPG"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_Erp3EESAvnM/Rsoy_Q7vo_I/AAAAAAAAAEs/P9MES06hwXE/s320/murawai+066.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5100945590409208818" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I've come to the conclusion that being depressed sucks eggs. The next one is this afternoon. Managed to bring up my average for social policy, got an A and an A- on my presentation and essay, so that was fairly cool and would definately bring up the C+ i got in the first essay. Yesterday was Community Development which ark errrr I actually enjoyed. Ran into T, as I was getting some lunch on the way home. T is the lecturer for community development, and hes like "how was the exam, do you think the others enjoyed it?". I don't know how they liked it. It seems like something is terribly wrong.Wize_Onenoreply@blogger.com
