K my resident who has prader willi syndrome, had a complete loose the plot night, which included her teeth in my jumper, trying to kick me, got L a good one in the shin, M seemed relatively unscathed. Ended up with me and M having her in a CPI hold on the couch.... Whats hardest is that what drives her rage, isnt about what staff do or dont do, but its driven through an innate sense of self hatered, feelings of hopelessness that her situation is not one she can change, she will never be able to live independently

I gave her a back massage and was able to pray while I was giving her a massage


I feel so hopeless

There was a part on 60 minutes tonight about the rising prevalence of crystal meth aka P.

It was a scary doco. One woman had used it once and became addicted from that one use. So much so that was the focus of her daily living, getting the next fix

It also stated the P had replaced heroin as the "hard drug of choice". If a person is addicted from the first time they take it, how can it be a drug of choice?

If you are one of these people who wants to tell your depressed friend to "snap out of it" I have a question. Would you tell your tetraplegic friend to get up and walk? Then why do you feel the need to tell your other depressed friend that they should snap out of it

Yes folks, I'm dealing with clinical depression at the moment. Absolutley soul sucking depression. I discovered that it clinical depression when I went of my antidepressant. I was fine for about a week, however forgot that amytriptilene has a longer half life than most and it takes longer to get out of my system

This is likely to be an unpopular post, however I have to make it. I've spent the last 2 days recovering from a really bad case of indigestion. I went along expecting a five course meal, and all that was served up was five courses of pavalova.

Its great for the first 1 or 2 slices but after five pavalovas, eekkkk.

Nothing dramatic, stopped taking my happy pills, and then felt ok for about a week, but had a crash and burn on the seventh day...

It was my birthday on the thursday just gone, being absolutely terrible, I didnt even go to school that day, but stayed home and caught up on sleep

so dear blog readers, I havent dropped of the plannet earth, just got caught up in life for a while
