Have you ever noticed how the word "but" in a sentence seems to minimise everything that comes before the "but"

I love you but I wish you could do more around the house to help me

I respect you as a person but what your doing is wrong

I think your an awesome person but I think what you do is squicky

As christian we say "i have no problems with homosexuals, but its a sin". We feel the need to love the sinner but hate the sin, yet somehow the two seem to get confused and we end up hating the person and hating the sin

I didnt do politically correct when I was a practicing witch. Then I thought it was a noxious weed choking the life out of human kind and I still do. I will not sit in judgement of the homosexual, yea I know its a sin, and chances are so do they, however most hay people get judgement from every area of their life. I will not add to it. If they ask me my opinion I will give it.
