Last night at the life course, we were discussing Jesus and who he was, and some got on to discussing how when things are really bad God carried them through it.


I got to thinking, a long time ago, when I really hated God, and wanted nothing to do with him, I made plans to take my life, had enough pills to kill a horse, pills that on their own should have done the trick and even if that failed the negative contraindications between the different drugs should have killed me. All that happened was that I slept, still have no idea how I got from the couch where I had collapsed to my bed.

At the time I wondered whether there was a higher power looking out for me, looking back now I can see it was God looking out for me, and bringing me through it because he has a higher plan for my life.Thats like wow material, that God would still do something so amazing, for someone who hated him
